Made weak by time and fate,
but strong in will;
To seek, to strive, to find, and not to yield.

Side Note:
The fork. or Also known as "A Dingle-hopper" Reminds me of one who not only had amazing hair (that I would pretend I had as I swam in our pool as a young girl) but also for me represents a young woman who loved learning about everything and anything. Who pushed past barriers and boundaries to find her place in this world. In this industry education is key and you are always always learning. Everyday! And with that requires perseverance to reach goals. The industry of beauty is all about testing, pushing and surpassing barriers and boundaries. This industry is truly SWEET!!!!

SugarJane @ home

So, I've decided through lots of prayerful thought (and encouragement from friends) that I would start doing hair in my own space for family and friend. This is designed to keep my new found skills in check while I figure out where I'm supposed to be and where I'll be happiest. I've put together a list of services and prices. I don't have a hammered down schedule yet as I'm still interviewing for assisting positions and playing with the idea of possibly going to work part time to help with my growth and education as a stylist. If/ when I do go to a salon, I'll post the info of where I'm at if/when that time comes. However as of right now I'm free Monday through Friday. Got a hair craving? Call me! ♥
PS: As I don't have color product (except for lightener) on site, I'll need to do a free consultation for any of you that I've never colored before. I do these on Mondays.

Rock'n hair

The Friday before spring break the boy's school had an impromptu school spirit day with the theme being "Rock'n roll" So we came up with some fun, pop'n, yet simple hair for the boys.

Originally with Branson I just did some free painting of the lightener but ended up with sloppy do it yourself rocker look, so Saturday I did another application to even it all out. He didn't want to cut his hair but he wanted to go blonde. And blonde he was.... a little toner would have really made it great.

Jp chose a mo-hawk, a lightning one to be exact and why not lighten it too?

James was so nervous the morning of. He kept asking "are you sure the whole school is doing this?"

James really feeling the "rock" with his shades on.

More fun kids hair adventure to come soon!

Lot's of love and "rock'n roll" !
