Side Note:
The fork. or Also known as "A Dingle-hopper" Reminds me of one who not only had amazing hair (that I would pretend I had as I swam in our pool as a young girl) but also for me represents a young woman who loved learning about everything and anything. Who pushed past barriers and boundaries to find her place in this world. In this industry education is key and you are always always learning. Everyday! And with that requires perseverance to reach goals. The industry of beauty is all about testing, pushing and surpassing barriers and boundaries. This industry is truly SWEET!!!!

Update... I like the "About me" the way it is!

So mom, here is my update...... a whole lot of nothing is going on, well at least not anything fun or exciting. And I really don't want to vent or rant about stress because it'll just get me all worked up and I have been told by Bran, to not worry.
I will tell ya my friend Baily Michael cuts great hair. I recently went to her to get my hair trimmed up and the sweet girl, knowing we're in a bit of a rough spot right now, did my highlights for free! Baily, you made my month! Thank you so much! Also, Mariesa my sister in law hosted a purse party and earned a free purse. She had already bought herself one so she let me pic out the free one for myself. She also added a ray of sunshine in my month. Thank you Mariesa for my really cute Dolche and Gabana.
That's is about it . I'm sure I'll add in some fun random pics of Tessa and maybe my cute new purse and such soon. My camera is being dumb and is taking really crappy pictures right now, so I'm not really driven to post any.
Oh, also, I am thinking of hosting a purse party myself. Maybe July'ish??? Let me know if you'd like to be on the invite list. Of course I'll be posting info for it here and if you'd like to come... come.
LOVES!!!!

Some fun happenings with some hospital pics of Tessa

More fun pics of Tessa
Here are the boys "oogling" at her. They were so excited to finally hold her. Although Branson has yet to hold her. I think her tinyness makes him nervous.
Brock loving on Tessa. And he's happy as can be despite the fact that she's screaming.
He wasn't very happy when I took her away to feed her.
Brock meeting his new sister for the 1st time.
Me and the new girl :D

Some hecka fun earings I made with the help of my friend Jen Wagner. Alice guitar pics, crystals, sterling silver chain and and earing hook. So easy and so stink'n cute!!!

James won for fastest car at pinewood derby. Which was funny because Bran prepared him with "....this is not a design that will be the fastest...."And me with my love of trucks said, " don't say that! Trucks rock!"
What do you know..... Trucks do rock!!!!!
And here is Branson ice skating for the 1st time at one of his friends birthday parties a few weeks ago. He "walked" around once and was done. He is in the red jacket.

I really thought we had it for a minute there!!!

I really thought we had it. So sad but I'm glad it was such a great game. Gotta love Fitz!!! He's my favorite I think. Although Warner is amazing too. Both stellar examples of great players.
Bran said that he'd preferred it a blow out. He says that the heartbreak is stronger when you get so close to winning like that. I think that being able to give your opponent a run for their money is much better.
Baby Update:
No baby girl yet. Still waiting to see if she comes on her own or if she'll need some coaxing.

Another reason to love our Cards.

KURTIS THE STOCK BOY AND BRENDA THE CHECKOUT GIRL In a supermarket, Kurtis the stock boy, was busily working when a new voicecame over the loud speaker asking for a carry out at register 4. Kurtis wasalmost finished, and wanted to get some fresh air, and decided to answer thecall. As he approached the check-out stand a distant smile caught his eye, thenew check-out girl was beautiful. She was an older woman (maybe 26, and hewas only 22) and he fell in love. Later that day, after his shift was over, he waited by the punch clock to findout her name. She came into the break room, smiled softly at him, took hercard and punched out, then left. He looked at her card, BRENDA. He walkedout only to see her start walking up the road. Next day, he waited outside asshe left the supermarket, and offered her a ride home. He looked harmlessenough, and she accepted. When he dropped her off, he asked if maybe hecould see her again, outside of work. She simply said it wasn't possible. He pressed and she explained she had two children and she couldn't afford ababy-sitter, so he offered to pay for the baby-sitter. Reluctantly she acceptedhis offer for a date for the following Saturday. That Saturday night he arrivedat her door only to have her tell him that she was unable to go with him. Thebaby-sitter had called and canceled. To which Kurtis simply said, "Well, let's take the kids with us." She tried to explain that taking the children was not an option, but again nottaking no for an answer, he pressed. Finally Brenda, brought him inside to meether children. She had an older daughter who was just as cute as a bug, Kurtisthought, then Brenda brought out her son, in a wheelchair. He was born aparaplegic with Down Syndrome. Kurtis asked Brenda, "I still don't understand why the kids can'tcome with us?"Brenda was amazed. Most men would run away from a woman with two kids, especially if one had disabilities - just like her first husband andfather of herchildren had done. Kurtis was not ordinary - - - he had a different mindset. That evening Kurtis and Brenda loaded up the kids, went to dinner and themovies. When her son needed anything Kurtis would take care of him. When heneeded to use the restroom, he picked him up out of his wheelchair, took himandbrought him back. The kids loved Kurtis. At the end of the evening, Brendaknew this was the man she was going to marry and spend the rest of her lifewith. A year later, they were married and Kurtis adopted both of her children.Since then they have added two more kids. So what happened to Kurtis the stock boy and Brenda the check-out girl? Well,Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Warner now live in Arizona , where he is currently employedas the quarterback of the National Football League Arizona Cardinalsand has hisCardinals in the hunt for a possible appearance in the Super Bowl. Is this asurprise ending or could you have guessed that he was not an ordinary person. It should be noted that he also quarterbacked the Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.He has also been the NLF's Most Valuable Player twice and the SuperBowl'sMost Valuable Player. AND THE REST OF THE STORY:Today at church our minister mentioned that when Kurt, his wife and 7children goout to eat he has one of his children pick out a family eating at therestaurant. Kurtthen tells the wait staff he is picking up the tab for that family'sdinner anonimously. He remembers the days he was working nights in the grocery store andfeeding his family on food stamps. Makes it hard not to root for the Cardinals IN THE SUPER BOWL ...doesn'tit?

3 New POSTS!!!!
Enjoy the update.

Mess of the week

Hey, it's really quiet. I wonder what Brock is up to.......
Apparently it was time to do dishes.
Can you see the bleach spot on his shirt! Grrrrr. So frustrating. I love this cute shirt that is now a pj shirt.
"Don't worry mom, I'll get a rag and clean it up"
"Owwww"
"Ya Brock, bleach doesn't feel good on the skin!"
I know he's just trying to help, but oh my gosh!
Also, while I was in Vegas Bran said that he found Brock in our closet, sitting on the floor with the light off attempting to paint his toes and fingers with my nail polish. He said Brock had it all over his feet and hands, but didn't get hardly any on the floor! He again said "Oww www" as Bran tried to get the polish off his skin with the nail polish remover.
I really wish he had the camera for that one!

Misc updated pics of our activites,,,,There are a lot!

In order of most recent
Here is my stud of a husband dressed up as "Cousin Eddie" from his favorite Christmas movie "Christmas Vacation"
Yes, he even wore the black socks with shorts. :P
My sister in law Shauna throws a Christmas Party every year for her Brothers and sisters with a new theme. This year's was a PJ party. We had awesome omelette's and waffles along with homemade egg nogg! We played 80's video games. The goal was to be the highest scoring to win the prize. The girls played Centipede and the boys, Excite Bike.
PS: props include IBC Root beer and a chocolate cigar from See's candy.
Brock being daddy for the day.
"The time in now......"
Branson learned to tie his shoes this week! Yeah finally!
Beau in action.
The highest suspension bridge. It literally passes over the non water side of Hoover Dam.
Can you see the cars at the bottom of the pic. They help put the height in perspective.
Every time I see it, all I think is, "Holy Crap! that's high!!!"
I went to Amb's baby shower thrown by her friend the beautiful and talented Michelle (on the left) and her super fun and adorable boss Paula (middle).
It was at Paula's AMAZING home and it was a true baby shower hook up! Amb's ended up with a mound of baby gear and the cutest "Advice for the new Mom" scrapbook filled with support and self help ideas, including pics of all of us who gave the advice right next to our pages. All done and put together by the end of the shower.
The cake.
Me, Mom and Ambs
Us and our little girl bellies.
Amb's got her wish. She was insistent that she would have the 1st granddaughter.
Amb's due: January 17th
I'm due:February 1st
Brock totally fell asleep behind Bran while watching him play a computer game. I hear Bran calling me form the room, "Mandi, can you come and help me out?!"
"Help out with what??" was my response.
"OH! Let me get a pic 1st!"
Hahha So funny!
We put up our tree. The earliest we've ever put it up, but only because I talked Bran into a fake one. I was not up to decorating and lighting a real tree this year. Plus let's face it, their so expensive when you don't have the moola. This cute little tree was a great walmart Black Friday deal.
Brock finding the just right spot for his ornament.
I woke him up from a nap to get the boys from school. Told him he gets a sucker for being a good boy for taking a nap and next thing I knew, he was napping again, sucker and all.
And have you heard, he LOVES Bananas!!!! On this particular day he snuck into the kitchen several times and managed to eat 4 of them. This is him, on his 4th.
YUMMMMMY!!!!
You want some?
